Who is eligible to become a McNair Scholar?

To apply to the McNair Scholars Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Full-time Beloit College student

• First generation college student who meets federal low-income guidelines and/OR is a member of an underrepresented group in graduate education

• U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident

• Junior Standing in fall of next academic year with a minimum 3.0 GPA

• Strong desire to pursue a doctoral degree
