Tularosa Black-on-White Tularosa Style - CA. 1030-1200

The Tularosa Style Tularosa Black-on-White found at the Starkweather Ruin is defined by the use of spirals. In the less mature form, interlocking solid and hatched spirals are poorly executed and loosely arranged on the vessel. Later, a much tighter composition is accompanied by well-executed designs which usually combine the spiral with a stairstep.
