Alma Plain wares were by far the most prevalent cooking ware throughout most of Mogollon history. The surface was usually well rubbed with a tool, and interiors were rarely smudged. The vessel walls are remarkably thin for such an early type, although Alma Plain is found throughout most of the Mogollon phases.
