Come to the library on Tuesday afternoon, November 20, to talk about
food with students in Roc Ordman’s “What Shall I Eat?” class. The FYI
students have been examining nutrition, diet, and food from multiple
perspectives. Each has selected and read a book that relates food to
their intended major or concentration-- psychology, economics,
biochemistry, philosophy, and more. Books will be on display, and
students will be on hand to talk with you from 2:00-4:00. As Roc says
about the class, “Finally, when you decide to ‘Have it your way,’ you
will have practical, moral, and philosophical reasons for your
choices.”
