Tutor of the Term
Carolyn Smith - Spring 2012
Carolyn Smith, class of 2013, is a third-year student from Maine. Carolyn tutors five students in Spanish.
This is what Carolyn's tutees have to say about her:
"She is awesome, flexible and patient."
"Carolyn is an exemplary student, a phenomenal peer and a really hardworking individual."
"She guided me through grammar, paper-writing and reading comprehension with patience and grace."
"She made learning Spanish fun and interesting and helped me improve my grade."
"Carolyn was willing to spend a few minutes on questions I had regarding other things at Beloit. This strengthened our relationship as tutor and tutee and, as I believe, led to much more productive sessions because I was comfortable and could trust her."
Carolyn was nominated and selected for Tutor of the Term from the 66 tutors working for the Learning Enrichment & Disability Services office. The Learning Enrichment & Disability Services staff selects the finalist from among all the nominees this semester.
