Mac OSX 7/OSX 8 Wireless

Note:
 It is important to run all software updates on your Macintosh before following these instructions.  Failure to update the latest software may result in an inability to connect to the ISR wireless network.

1) Click the Wireless icon [IMAGE] on the Menu Bar, and then click Open Network Preferences.

2) Click
Turn Wi-Fi Off.  Then, click Advanced.
[IMAGE]

3) On the
Wi-Fi tab, click + to create a new preferred network.
[IMAGE]

4) Enter
ISR for the name of the new network.
[IMAGE]

5) Set security to
WPA Enterprise.
[IMAGE]

6) Enter your Beloit College E-Mail
username/password.
[IMAGE]

7) Click
OK on the Add a Wi-Fi network profile window.
[IMAGE]

8) Repeat steps 4-8 but use network name
ISR2 and security WPA2 Enterprise.

9) Make sure
ISR2 is listed above ISR in the Preferred Network list, as it is more secure.  You can drag and drop to rearrange.

10) Click OK on the Advanced Settings window.
[IMAGE]

11) Click Apply on the Network Preferences window.
[IMAGE]

12) Click Turn Wi-Fi On.
[IMAGE]

13) Your computer should now automatically connect to any ISR wireless access point in range.

14) If this is your first time connecting this computer to the ISR wireless network, you will be prompted to register your computer.
