Head Coach, Women's Lacrosse

    Beloit College is seeking a dynamic individual to lead its Women’s Lacrosse program.  This is a full-time position (12 months), reporting to the Director of Athletics and Recreation.  Beloit College is a highly selective, diverse, residential, liberal arts college of 1250 students, nationally recognized for its international and experiential education.  A member of the Midwest Conference, Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference and NCAA Division III, Beloit is also a member of the Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM).

    The College is seeking candidates for this position who can demonstrate a record of success in coaching women’s lacrosse at the collegiate level. Successful candidates will demonstrate success in recruiting and retaining diverse student-athletes and will understand the needs of student-athletes in the context of a residential learning environment. It is essential that the successful candidate demonstrate a commitment to the academic success of the students in the context of a highly selective liberal arts institution.   We are seeking to cultivate a diverse applicant pool and especially seek candidates who have experience recruiting and coaching teams with diverse identities and backgrounds.

    RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct and effectively manage the overall program including coaching, the recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, scheduling and budget management, travel arrangements and the supervision of coaching staff.  The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the department and college in meaningful ways through additional administrative duties.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; master’s degree preferred; coaching experience required, preferably at the college level; demonstrated knowledge of NCAA and MWLC rules and a commitment to the academic development of student-athletes required.  Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
