External Grants and Fellowships

The College encourages competitive grant seeking as a way to help maintain and enhance our prominence in liberal, higher education through the support of effective and innovative programs. The process of seeking a grant - developing a plan, enlisting colleagues' support and ideas, writing a proposal document and taking the action of submitting the proposal - can be very positive both for the College and for the individual grant-seeker, and ultimately rewarding beyond the financial grant itself.

For a complete guide to the college's grant policies and procedures, please consult the Grants and Fellowships Handbook.  For a quick, one-page glimpse of pre-submission proposal guidelines and/or of the post-award guidelines, please select "Steps in Grant Proposal Development" or "Steps in Post-Award Grant Administration and Reporting."
