Field Geology

All geology majors complete a five-week summer field methods course (GEOL215).  The Field Geology course takes place primarily in Wyoming.  Students spend time learning and mapping the geology of the Big Horn Basin, the Owl Creek Mountains, and the Seminoe Mountains.
