Bring the entire family for a night of science, discovery, fun, appetizers and prizes!

[Family Discovery Night]


Admission is FREE.  

Explore science and the arts through hands-on activities at the Science Center and Logan Museum at Beloit College.
Meet amazing scientists from Kerry Ingredients & Flavours and Beloit College. 

Extended Feature: Make your way to the Logan Museum to marvel over museum objects and explore world cultures with anthropologists & the Roy Chapman Andrews Society.



6:30pm & 7:15pm
John Kaufmann presents "The Sky from Scratch"

A playful and interactive astronomy show where audience members create their own stories and constellations to make sense of the night sky. Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Limited passes for the show will be available at the door of the Science Center starting at 6pm on the day of the event.



Collect “passport stamps” as you discover how the brain works, learn from an interactive show about astronomy, go on a scavenger hunt in the Logan Museum, engage with robots, and much more.
