MISSION STATEMENT
To empower Beloit College students and alumni to develop skills and knowledge for successful lifelong career development, while addressing their diverse interests and backgrounds, and promoting experiential learning.
Overall Goals
To accomplish our mission, we seek to assist students and alumni with:
- Engaging in self-assessment
- Obtaining occupational information
- Formulating personally meaningful career plans through effective decision-making
- Understanding the value of experiential learning in relation to career and academic plans
- Exploring a full range of opportunities including externships, internships, employment, service work and graduate/continuing education
- Presenting themselves effectively as candidates for these opportunities
In addition, we seek to facilitate collaboration among offices, departments, colleges and community partners to raise awareness about the importance and role of students' career development.

REGISTER YOUR INTERNSHIP
For
any student who will be completing an internship whether it be during the
Fall, Spring, or Summer terms, consider registering the experience with the College through
FACS. This can be initiated through a quick meeting with one of our counselors. Why
register your internship? By registering the experience ahead of time with
FACS, you will have access to all kinds of additional support services AND

This is also your chance to learn how to "get established" in a new city. After all, you are likely going to be relocating repeatedly throughout your life; you might as well get a leg up now! |

Our staff can assist you in locating internships, field terms, and other similar experiences all around the world. You must demonstrate not only that you've learned it, but that you can apply it outside the classroom. |
| 6 | To access hundreds of electronic job/internship postings, upload your resume into our on-line database, and participate in on-campus interviews. Each term, employers visit campus to interview Beloit students for a variety of entry-level jobs from business to the Peace Corps. |
