Have you every wished you could "try on" a job for a day or two or at least talk to someone currently doing the work you're interested in? Or, have you ever wished you had an "in" to a company, organization, or graduate school? Good news! We've got the perfect resource for conducting career research, getting leads on jobs, internships, or even finding housing in a specific area. The Beloit Career Network is a group of alumni, parents, and friends of the College who are eager to help you with your career research. No cold calls here. They've already volunteered to help!
If you are a student or alumnus of Beloit, you have access to this jewel of a resource - over 1,000 folks from locations across the globe for life. Individual volunteers may choose to assist or mentor students with:
-
Informational interviews - conversations about career experiences, choices, graduate school, etc.
-
Externships (job shadow opportunities)
-
Finding summer housing
-
Connecting with internship or entry-level job openings
We express our deepest thanks to all of the volunteers currently serving in our Network.
