Welcome to Field and Career Services! We invite you to join us in continuing in the tradition of serving as career mentors and role models for currently enrolled students as they move forward in discovering their life's work.

CONNECTING WITH BELOIT STUDENTS

The Beloit Career Network
This group of parent and alumni mentors have chosen an exciting way to connect with Beloit students by making themselves available to students via email or phone to answer questions about their career paths, current position, industry, or educational background. Think of it as being interviewed about your career. Students need this type of first-hand information as they research various career options and what better place to get it than from a trusted friend? You might also choose to assist students in finding leads for summer housing, posting vacancies, or hiring a Beloit student. For more information and the opportunity to sign up, see the Beloit Career Network section of our site. If you have internship or entry-level positions you would like to share with us, don't forget to look at the "Recruiting Beloit Students" page in the Employer section.

On-Campus Involvement
There are many other avenues available for getting involved with students right here on campus. We would enjoy the opportunity to welcome you to campus for any of the following career-related events (or give us your ideas):

  • Presentations or lectures on your particular industry or field of expertise
  • Serving as part of a panel discussion on a career-related topic
  • Volunteering to conduct "mock" or practice interviews with students here on campus
  • Attending our Alumni Networking Fair (Yes, parents are welcome!)

Off-Campus Involvement
In addition to the Beloit Career Network, we have a wonderful program we call Career Connections in which we take a group of students (via bus) to your city to learn about your company, your career, or simply to come together for an informal reception. Typically these occur in cities such as Madison, Milwaukee, or Chicago and include a full day of activities from company tours, to career panels, and evening receptions.

If you're interested in discussing the possibility of joining in these, or any other career-related events, give us a call and join in the fun. You can contact us at (608) 363-2673 or via email at facs@beloit.edu
