Initial Educator Licensing

The licensing process involves many small steps that will depend on the work you do with your advisor and on your initiative to follow through on a variety of requirements. There are state tests, education and content area coursework, portfolio assignments, field experience, and student teaching.  We will provide you with valuable resources, but continually check in with your advisor.  S/he will orient you with a planning sheet at the beginning of the licensing process.
