ACDFA

ACDFA stands for the American College Dance Festival Association. Each spring Beloit College sends a group of about 30 students to the regional festival. All students interested in attending may go. At the four-day festival students and faculty are able to take classes in all areas of dance and dance related subjects. Additionally, each school that attends may present up to two dances for adjudication by world renowned dance professionals. These adjudicators select the very best pieces to give encore performances in the gala concert at the end of the festival. Beloit College dances have been in the gala concert regularly since 2001.

In 2006 we will travel to Iowa City at the University of Iowa for the North Central Region festival.
