If you want to find out what kinds of opportunities have been submitted by employers and community partners to Career Services, then go here! The system is specifically for Beloit College students and alumni. Find local, national and international opportunities just for you, upload your resume to be able to apply for positions online, and to be given the option of giving Career Services permission to refer your resume to employers. Also accessible through My TurtleSearch are Career Builder, Internships.com, and Monster College.

  1. Students need to use their student ID numbers for both the username and the password the first time using the system. *If you are a new student on campus, contact the Liberal Arts in Practice Center's office coordinator, Mary McGlynn, at mcglynnm@beloit.edu to request to be added to the system. After you have been added to the system, you will be able to log in using your student ID number to start using My TurtleSearch.
  2. After logging in, go to My Account - then Profile - to change the username and the password if desired.

Alumni may need to contact our office to be added to the system before you are able to log in.

Employers
My TurtleSearch is Beloit College's customized online database for job, internship and fellowship position postings, our student registration and resume referral system, and much more. Employers and community partners wishing to post opportunities online with us to advertise them to our students and alumni for FREE should go here! The system makes position postings available to Beloit College students and alumni 24/7. Employers and community partners may post local, national and international opportunities at no charge by sending them to Career Services to add to the system, or may add the postings themselves after completing a brief no-cost registration process with Career Services on the My TurtleSearch site. By registering, employer/community partner representatives will be given a username and establish a password for an account, and then be able to add, remove and edit postings with us; search registered students' and alums' resumes (requires authorized access through Career Services); and manage recruiting contacts and activities. Click on the employer link to My TurtleSearch and contact our office to learn more about registering on or using the system.

Positions will be posted until the application deadline date (or 4 weeks if an application deadline is not indicated), unless otherwise requested. Postings will be automatically removed from the student viewing page and stored in our database
once the designated posting end date has passed. The posting can be reactivated at any time upon the organization's request. Organizations are responsible for contacting Career Services if a position has been filled prior to the designated posting end date.
