Share Your Bio with Alumni!

Filling out a BCN profile form for the Beloit Career Network will enable you to connect with alumni in an area that interests you. The form is sent to the LAPC email.

Important Note: When you click the "Submit" button, you must save the completed profile form PDF document and email it as an attachment to the LAPC from your email account if you do not use Outlook email or have the ability to send emails from the Web without logging into your email account. The "Submit" button only automatically submits a profile to LAPC for those with these special email settings.

Please review the instructions and guidelines below before completing and submitting the profile form. Your profile information will be forwarded to a select group of alumni in the network, and those who are able to provide advice and/or resources related to your interests will email you with their response. Remember, when you hear from an alumnus/a, this is a conversation! Ask questions and build a professional relationship.

Please keep your profile to 150 words

Your profile should include:

• Name
• Class year
• Major
• Areas that interest you—industries rather than specific job titles (e.g. Finance, Studio Arts)
• What you are looking for from alumni (e.g. career planning advice, job opportunities, internship location ideas, names of organizations)
• Locations you are considering after graduation  or for an internship
• Activities alumni may be pursuing that you might like to explore
• Preferred e-mail to communicate with alumni

Jane Buccaneer, Class of 2013

I am interested in a variety of opportunities where I can use my love for art to help people. I am a psychology major, but have taken several courses in art and statistics. I studied abroad last semester in Venezuela and loved traveling and experiencing the new culture. And, although I am from the Midwest, I would like to live on the East Coast after graduation. I am active in Habitat for Humanity and have considered joining the Peace Corps. I’m particularly interested in connecting with alumni who are making a difference in their communities or who know of organizations that are making a big impact. My name is Jane and I am a business major. I am interested in connecting with alumni that work in international business in Chicago, Seattle, or New York. I am the treasurer of Beloit Student Congress and really enjoy it, and also am active in the international club. If there are internship opportunities that you know of, I would love to hear about them, but would also like to understand more about how to get started in this career field.
