Beloit Career Network (BCN)
This is an additional resource to those listed on the Alumni & Parent Relations Social Networking website.

The Beloit Career Network is a network of alumni, parents, and close friends of the College have signed up for this network to help students and alumni with career related pursuits. A spreadsheet of alumni, organizations, contact information, and career positions/majors is generated through WebAdvisor.

Instructions For Students:

Get a BCN List:

  1. Log in on WebAdvisor.
  2. On your WebAdvisor homepage, under the "Communication" section, click on the link, "Beloit Career Network Alumni Contacts."
  3. Complete the BCN request form, which includes setting your search criteria based on career field, Beloit College major, and/or geographic location.
  4. A spreadsheet will appear on your screen, with a list of alumni, their career and education information, and contact information. You may save the document to your computer or flashdrive.
  5. Use the Career Services BCN Tip Sheet and the Career Services Networking Guide to guide you in making the alumni contacts.

 

Share My Bio with Alumni! (NEW Student Opportunity!)

Filling out a profile for the Beloit Career Network will enable you to connect with alumni in an area that interests you. Please review the instructions and guidelines for creating your profile.

Important Note: When you click the "Submit" button, you must save the completed profile form PDF document and email it as an attachment to the LAPC from your email account if you do not use Outlook email or have the ability to send emails from the Web without logging into your email account. The "Submit" button only automatically submits a profile to LAPC for those with these special email settings.

Your profile information will be sent to a select group of alumni in the network, and those who are able to provide advice and/or resources related to your interests will email you with their response. Remember, when you hear from an alumnus/a, this is a conversation! Ask questions and build a professional relationship.
