    Get registered with Career Services in the Liberal Arts in Practice Center (LAPC) beginning your very first year on campus. Registration simply means registering on My TurtleSearch on our website. Why?

    • It will provide you with quick and easy access to all of our electronic internship/job postings sent to our office by employers.

    • You will be able to quickly apply for those opportunities by just a click of a button by uploading your resume on the site.

    • You can choose to participate in our Resume Referral Program. If you opt for this service we will forward your resume to employers who inquire and have opportunities that match your interests.

    7 To meet the top expectation of employers and graduate schools everywhere: Getting relevant work experience. Our staff can assist you in locating internships all around the world. The truth is, employers demand proof of your abilities beyond your GPA, major, minor, and academic experiences. You must demonstrate not only that you've learned it, but that you can apply it outside the classroom.
    6 To access hundreds of electronic job/internship postings, upload your resume into our on-line database, and participate in on-campus interviews. Each term, employers visit campus to interview Beloit students for a variety of entry-level jobs from business to the Peace Corps.

    3 To sharpen your interviewing skills. Call us to schedule a practice, or "mock" interview to sail past your competition. We'll even videotape it for you so you can see those all important non-verbal behaviors that tend to appear when we get nervous. Better now than in the real thing!
