Career Fairs

One of the best methods for us to bring employers, community organizations and students together is through any one of our all-campus career fairs. We have a number of options to offer you both on and off campus. If you would like more information about any of the career fairs listed below, please contact us

WorkForce Career Fair
http://www.wipccc.org
The 20 private college career centers in Wisconsin put this fair together as a collaborative effort. It is by far the largest fair we help to coordinate with anywhere from 75 to 120 employers attending and over 1,000 students. Most employers are hiring seniors for entry-level jobs, but many are also looking for interns. It is held early each spring at Marquette University in Milwaukee. The fee for employers varies depending on company size. Employers need to register online at the site listed above.  Students may attend for free. Career Services sponsors transportation for students who sign up in advance at our office.  Students should bring plenty of resumes and research the employers online. For further details, visit the site listed above.

International & Service Career Fair
This career fair is for non-profit or service organizations to recruit students for work opportunities. Typically, students who attend are interested in careers with organizations like the Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Teach for America, Japan Exchange Teaching (JET) Program, and others. It is held each year in November during the same week as the College's International Education Week. This career fair is uniquely suited to our student population since many of them seek out either short or long-term non-profit and public service careers.

And More For Employers. . .

  • In addition to career fairs, we often bring employers to campus to discuss career-related subjects (individually or on panels), speak in classrooms, conduct practice interviews, or other related programs. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about any of these services.
