In addition to our many employer services, career fairs, internships, and other programs, there are many alternative methods available for you to connect with students at Beloit College.
Community-Based Learning promotes academically-grounded, community engagement. From one-hour encounters to semester-long explorations, community-based learning is tailored to enhance academic goals in all disciplines. In addition to course work, students can pursue community engagement through internships, special projects, Venture grants and fellowships. Community-Based Learning is part of the Liberal Arts in Practice Center (LAPC) along with Career Services and The Campus and Community Outreach Center (CCOC) located at 703 Emerson Street.
The Campus and Community Outreach Center (CCOC) aims to bridge the gap between the campus and community. The CCOC is a student run organization striving to find volunteer opportunities for students based on their interests to acquaint them with the Beloit community while continuing to maintain and build strong lasting community partnerships in the Beloit area. The CCOC is part of the Liberal Arts in Practice Center (LAPC) along with Career Services and Community-Based Learning located at 703 Emerson Street.
