Have gown, will Convocate (who, what, whens, wheres for faculty/staff)

August 20, 2013 at 9:47 pm

The academic year’s official kick-off is taking place Monday (Aug. 26) at 4:15 p.m. in Eaton Chapel. Do you know where you need to be, and when?

For faculty/staff, this means meeting in the Commons quad at 3:30 p.m. in order to march. In the meantime, faculty and staff who are marching (pretty much everyone, unless working or otherwise officially excused) can pick up their cap and gown in the Office of Communications and Marketing, (631 College St., across the street from WAC), between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

See the attached PDF for the marching order; you can keep your mortarboard and tassel, but the gown can be returned to C&M immediately after Convocation, or, in the appropriate packaging (the one with your name, in order for you to receive credit) by Monday, Sept. 2.
