Beloit College invites applications for a full-time assistant registrar position, joining a dedicated staff in creating, maintaining, certifying and protecting college records of courses, degrees, and students. The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills in the configuration and use of an integrated database system, capacity to produce consistently accurate results with meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to provide leadership in the registrar’s office on all issues regarding data management and future implementation plans.
The assistant registrar will be a key staff member in ensuring the integrity of student academic records and the fair, knowledgeable application of related academic policies. Responsibilities include oversight of the biannual on-line schedule of course offerings, assignment of general classrooms, and biannual preregistration/registration process. A bachelor's degree, two to three years experience in higher education administration (preferably in an academic records office), and prior experience with an ERP system that includes collection and management of data and report-writing required. Strong oral, written, analytical and organizational communication skills, computer literacy, and a commitment to the liberal arts and learning in an intercultural environment expected.
