Every year the Office of International Education hosts an event that provides Beloit students an opportunity to showcase the different ways they have engaged in international education. Be it through an internship abroad, field research, or volunteering, International Symposium Day allows students to reflect on what they’ve done and inspire other students to pursue experiences of their own.
An informational meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the Science Center (room 101) for all students interested in being nominated for International Symposium Day. Nominations are due Monday, Sept. 22, and abstracts and registration are due the following Monday, Sept. 29. On Monday, Oct. 6, students’ sponsors need to turn in their approval for the event. International Symposium Day takes place Wednesday, Nov. 19 in lieu of classes.
