You may have seen them around town: some 46 painted doors, propped in parks and along roadsides.
It’s part of a summer program put on by Visit Beloit called Come and Knock on Our Doors, and it’s the work of dozens of artists, who used old doors removed from the Beloit Inn as canvases. One door, #41 in Horace White Park, features the work of Beloit College artists.

There’s more to the doors than just decoration, however; Visit Beloit is also sponsoring a contest to see who can upload the most photos of the doors to Instagram by Aug. 1, using the hashtag #visitbeloit doors. Not on Instagram? You can email your pics to firstname.lastname@example.org.
