Beloit Fire Department training on campus this week

June 21, 2014 at 5:59 pm

Where’s the fire? Not on campus, though you will see quite a few of Beloit’s finest in and around Peet Hall this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Members of the Beloit Fire Department will be running training exercises in the residence hall, deploying fire hoses up to the third floor and doing a ladder exercise through a window on the second floor.

The BFD’s Captain Ferger said we should expect to see two or three fire engines and an ambulance parked outside on the 900 block of Church Street during each of the exercises, which will be taking place from roughly 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on those three aforementioned days.
