Emily Dennis’10 played leading roles in Gum, Anna Karenina, A Street Car Named Desire, and Angels in America while she was a student at Beloit College.
Tonight (Monday, April 14) she returns to the Beloit stage for a production of The Thin Line, a free theatre production meant to break the silence on eating disorders, reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, and pave the way to prepare young adults for the intense pressure of high school, college, and life beyond.
The Thin Line features four characters with distinct voices all played by the same actor.
Dennis’10 is working for AddVerb Productions in Portland, Maine, which is an organization that creates theatre pieces intended to discuss an important social issue. The shows tour schools, hospitals, medical centers, and other facilities throughout the northeast and internationally.
