It was, wrote one former student, "a fitting tribute:" on Friday, Beloiters gathered in the Center of the Sciences to celebrate the re-naming of the mineralogy-petrology laboratory in honor of Beloit College Emeritus Professor of Geology Hank “The Chief” Woodard. This initiative was driven by a group of alumni—headed up by Richard A. "Skip" Davis'59—with support from development and alumni relations. (Read more here)
