Students--need money? One grant application, multiple funds

December 11, 2013 at 7:45 am

Need funding for a project or internship? What could be simpler than handing in one application to access multiple lines of funding--and what better time to get started on that application than over winter break?

The Common Grant Application for 2014 is now available. Students are able to complete one application and compete for funds available through the Office of International Education, the Venture Grant program, and the Liberal Arts in Practice Center. Last year, almost $80,000 was allocated to support student projects and internships over the summer. Examples of previous grant recipients, tips for writing a competitive proposal, descriptions of the various grants, and the application can all be found at  https://www.beloit.edu/lapc/funding/beloitonly/.

Applications are due Monday, March 17. For more information, or to discuss your application in more detail, contact the Liberal Arts in Practice Center at lapc@beloit.edu.
