‘Be in It’ Beloit blogger recalls own days on campus (video)

As part of a series of blog posts centered around the idea of living and playing in Beloit, the Visit Beloit Be in It bloggers capture a personal slice of life in the city.

The experience of Lanier Gordon’67 is especially relevant to Beloiters at the college--he graduated in 1967, and has lived in the area his entire life, aside from several years in the Peace Corps.

In a recent post, “Welcoming Beloit College Students to the Community,” he remembers his own time as a new student, observes a growing bond between the city and school, and celebrates the importance of the liberal arts.
