Cards used at local grocery store may be compromised

April 17, 2013 at 10:40 pm

Many Beloiters shop at Hilander—a grocery store operated by the Schnucks chain and located in Roscoe—and might be interested to know that the chain announced earlier this week that customers’ credit cards had been compromised.

Schnucks has created a dedicated call center for customers if they have questions about what happened and steps they can take to protect themselves; the number is 1-888-414-8022, with operators available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and this Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
