Volunteers needed for conducting community survey

March 25, 2013 at 10:03 pm

Neighborhood Housing Services of Beloit is looking for student volunteers to help conduct surveys with local residents concerning the surrounding community. Volunteers will be broken up into teams of two and will then spend a full day walking door-to-door, asking residents to fill out a short community satisfaction survey. Those with a background in Spanish are especially encouraged to volunteer.

There will be a short volunteer training meeting on next Wednesday (April3) at 6:30 p.m., and the data collection will occur on Saturday, April 6 from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Volunteers will be supplied with all survey materials, a T-shirt, and lunch. Transportation will be provided for those who need it.

Neighborhood Housing Services of Beloit is a private, not-for-profit corporation established in 1979, dedicated to strengthening neighborhoods by providing affordable home buying opportunities and related homeownership services.
