What’s up at the C-Haus this week? Ukulele-strummer, sonic explorations

February 20, 2013 at 10:45 pm

From C-Haus Manager Steve Olivieri:

Thursday (Feb. 21)
Minneapolis' ukulele-strumming songwriter Savannah Smith’s seriousness balances well with her jazz-informed cooing and lyrical density,” says the AV Club. She brings her tunes to the C-Haus at 10 p.m.

Friday (Feb. 22)
Vacation Dad likes to start parties and go on magical journeys around the world. Dakota Bones' sonic explorations blend electronics and traditional instruments. Take a trip with their electronic, experimental tunes, starting at 10 p.m.

Saturday (Feb. 23)

Har-di-Har are a multi-instrumentalist, trans-genre acoustic duo whose music is largely driven by drums and vocal harmonies - without loops, sampling, or programming. Beloit's own sweet songwriter Luna will open. Starting at 10 p.m.
