Wednesday (Nov. 14)
We’re partnering with Rho Lambda in a food-drive-driven trivia night hosted by Nate Fann. Bring a canned, non-perishable food and get two points for your team for every item you bring; starts at 10 p.m.
Thursday (Nov. 15)
Solemn Meant Walks has a vision to transform dreamy ethereal rock into a darker angular scenario. They take the stage at 10 p.m. with their haunting pop and shoegaze. Forget The Times takes over next with post-rock free jazz. The one and only Leo closes us out with an experiment in noise.
Friday (Nov. 16)
Indie rockers Adelyn Rose open up at 10 p.m. Described as a love-child of Arcade Fire and The Head and the Heart with a brief affair with Silversun Pickups, this group is at the forefront of the Eau Claire music scene. Following are Mutts, a band so steeped in the Chicago music scene’s history, they’ve practically written half of it (if you doubt us, check out their info section on Facebook).
Their heavy-hitting, high-energy rock returns to C-Haus on the heels of a spring appearance. Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard will close, exploring everything from contemplative folk narratives to distortion-fueled garage rock to soundscape abstractions. And comic books—there will be comic books.
Saturday (Nov. 17)
Rep Yo City is a time for people to come together to celebrate the places that they come from. Starting at 8 p.m., there will be music, food, and a contest to determine who shows the most hometown pride.
Playaz Ball starts at 11 p.m. with your very own Stagger Lee DJ-ing
