Voting in Wisconsin: when (Tuesday), where, and what to bring

June 4, 2012 at 11:14 am

Interested in exercising your enfranchisement in Tuesday’s election, but don’t know where to start? It’s as simple as knowing your street address—you can use it to look up your ward in the city of Beloit’s website; once you know your ward number, you can determine your polling location. It might be good to double-check your polling place before heading out to vote, as wards were recently redrawn due to the results of the 2010 Census. Polls in Beloit are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

(Note: for on-campus residents, the ward number is 16, and the polling location is First Congregational Church, on the corner of Bushnell and Church streets.)
