On Tuesday (April 10) at 2 p.m., violinist Susan Aquila will give a lecture/demonstration about the evolution of the violin—"The Evolution of the Violin: The Transition to the 21st Century”—in Room 203 of the Hendricks Center. The lecture is free and open to the public, and Beloit College students, faculty, and staff are invited.

The lecture is in preparation for her performance of the world premiere of Rob Tomaro's "Concerto for Electric Violin and Orchestra," on Saturday, April 14 at the Janesville Performing Arts Center.
