Front porches. Residence halls. The Emerson apartment building. These are some of the scenarios on the docket as the moves on with its work next week, and they want the campus community’s input.
The space use planning committee invites members of the campus community to two conversations about the new set of scenarios it has developed, similar to the feedback-gathering conversations that took place in December. The new scenarios can be viewed by downloading the pdf at right; the conversations will take place:
- Monday, Feb. 6 at 12:30 p.m. in Mathers
- Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 4 p.m. in WAC South Lounge
Provost and Dean of the College Ann Davies said these scenarios are in no way final, but are meant for discussion. “Everything is meant to have a fluid dynamic, and we’re testing out different ideas,” she says. “What we want to do is to say, ‘here are the things that are most important.’” The idea is that she’ll be sharing some of those priorities with the board of trustees when they meet this month.
