Not your average ice cream social

September 22, 2011 at 5:22 pm

Scientist or not, who doesn’t like ice cream? The Chemistry Club, however, will be hosting a unique twist on the classic ice cream social Saturday (Sept. 24) at 8 p.m. in Room 414 of the Science Center. The group will be serving up dishes of liquid nitrogen ice cream—and you can help them make this sweet treat, created at -200 degrees Celsius.

No experience is necessary, and scientists and non-scientists alike are welcome to join in this free event.
