They’re students, artists, and athletes, showing prowess in the pool or on the court, but also in putting paint to canvas or sketch pencil to paper. In advance of the March 16 opening of Artletics in the Wright Museum of Art, the Terrarium will get to know these artistic athletes. Or is it athletic artists? In any case, well-rounded Beloiters.

How would you describe your art, and what are you showing in the upcoming Artletics show? I like drawing what I see. I especially enjoy faces and hands.
What three items go in your desert island backpack? An inflatable boat, a flair gun, and a really, really long book
What’s on your desert island jukebox? Doomtree, Kanye West, Bon Iver, and Tupac
Favorite meal? Two current faves: Falafel Sandwich and Laoation butternut squash curry with tofu
What can’t you live without? Aside from the obvious family, friends etc, I can’t live without my music
What gets you up in the morning? On a school day, after pressing snooze for about 45 minutes, the anxiety of going over my allotted absences for the semester in a given class gets me up.
Which talent would you most like to have? I would love to have a photographic memory.

What’s the number one thing on your bucket list? I want to live in New Zealand; don’t care what I do there, I just want to live there for some period of time. And go skydiving.
