If you have something you want to learn or do, but need financial help to make it happen, consider applying for one or more of Beloit College’s many competitive opportunities to help student fund summer internships, research, service and travel.
To find out more about how to write a proposal—including the narrative, securing references, and developing a budget—head to the Liberal Arts in Practice Center from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 16). Betsy Brewer, director of the Office of International Education, and Carol Wickersham, director of Community-Based Learning will walk you through the steps of writing a winning proposal.
Bring your ideas and questions to this workshop. The deadline for most opportunities is by mid-March, so now is the time to be working on your proposal.
