FAC/STAFF: Seeking space for summer program

October 15, 2010 at 2:26 pm

The college has an opportunity to host the Wisconsin Center for Academically Talented Youth (WCATY) program this summer, and in order to do so, classroom and lab spaces must be scheduled for the group. According to Residential Life Director John Winkelmann, the group wants to host their program on campus during the last week in July and the first week in August 2011.

At this time,  the following spaces are needed for the program:

-Four science labs (chem/physics/bio/geo) or labs that would accommodate these lab classes
-One Mac computer lab  for a class of 15 students
-One regular computer lab for multiple classes of 15-20 students
-Two or three computer labs that can be shared between multiple classes
-At least one art space, for work with paint etc.
-multiple general classroom spaces

If you have suggestions or can help lock in any of these spaces for this group, please email John Winkelmann at winkelj@beloit.edu.
