Beloit, WI -- The Beloit College Women's Soccer team snapped a five-match winless streak on Think Pink Night at Strong Stadium Monday with a 5-0 win over Alverno College.
The Bucs also recognized Beloit College Faculty and Staff by hosting an Appreciation Night.
Beloit got two goals in the first half and three in the second half and were never threatened, out-shooting the Inferno 37-2 for the contest.
Sarah Dickinson got things rolling at 24:51 of the game off an assist from Kiera Hayes. Molly Dickson gave Beloit the 2-0 lead at the break with an unassisted goal at 42:40.
Dickinson got her second goal of the night six minutes into the second half, unassisted, to make it 3-0 before the Buccaneers closed the game with a flurry.
Norah Perry scored at 85:04 on Erin Chambers' assist and then Chambers finished the scoring just over two minutes later with a penalty kick score.
The Bucs have some time to celebrate their win before hosting North Central College in the home finale on Tuesday, October 19. Game time for the Senior Day game is 4:00 p.m.
