Last spring faculty and staff responded to a survey about how Beloit College could better support employees who are dealing with a serious illness, or may be the primary caregiver for a family member who is dealing with a serious illness, or have lost a loved one or colleague. The survey represented the first step in a program offered in partnership with Beloit Regional Hospice called It’s About How You Live - At Work.
On Wednesday, Sept. 29, Mary Deem, executive director of the Beloit Regional Hospice will present a brief program introducing the variety of services and resources provided by hospice. This will be the first in a series of programs offered to identify resources to help employees balance work-life challenges and work through difficult times when faced with serious health issues.
Join us on Sept. 29, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. in Mathers A/B in Pearsons. Please contact Terri Dahl at dahlt@beloit.edu or ext. 2630 to indicate your interest in attending the meeting. (A response is not required, but will help plan for handouts. Please join us if you can!)
