Building on last year’s curricular discussions about quantitative reasoning, Nathan Grawe from Carleton College will kick off “Thinking with Numbers,” a series of Beloit workshops on evaluating and using data effectively in the construction of arguments and on designing assignments that reach to these skills. His lecture on reasoning with data will be held at 4 p.m. on August 30 in Science Center 150.
