Art and athleticism—they are most definitely not mutually exclusive, as shown by the talented artists whose work will be on display at the Wright Museum of Art later this week. The Beloit College Department of Athletics and the Wright Museum of Art invite everyone to attend the fourth annual Artletics exhibition, a show featuring the talents of Beloit College student-athletes.
The show runs from Wednesday (March 14) to March 28 at the Wright Museum of Art.
Artletics is designed to show the talents of student-athletes away from their chosen sports. Student-athletes put in four to five hours each day training and competing in their sports, but they are, more importantly, full-time students who spend the majority of their day in their academic pursuits, including various artistic endeavors.
An opening reception for the show will be held on Wednesday (March 14) from 12:15 p.m. to 1:20 p.m.
