Whether it’s for Thursday night trivia, Friday night’s open mike, or just lunch with friends, it’s not at unusual to find downtown eatery/market/meeting place Bushel & Peck’s packed to the brim with Beloit College students and employees.

And co-owner Jackie Gennett definitely appreciates it. She told Beloit College Magazine that the Beloit College/Bushel & Peck’s connection even extends to her staff, which she estimates is three-quarters Beloit College students.
