AfriCaribe Dance Workshop & Performance

This is an educational and cultural event in celebration of Black History Month. Africaribe is a folkloric dance group performing bomba, a traditional style of music that originated in Puerto Rico and was influenced by the African slaves on the sugar cane plantations.

* 7:15-7:45 Workshop (Basement): Learn how bomba impacted the history of the Caribbean by the personal stories that will be told.
