Please join the Three Rivers Archaeological Society for a presentation by Dr. Amy Rosebrough, asst. State Archaeologist at the Wisconsin Historical Society on the Hanson Site.
In 1990 a mid-17th century mass grave was discovered on the edge of a gravel quary in Door County. New analysis suggests that the burials date to the years of the Iroquois Wars. Cutting-edge technology and forensic techniques have revealed lives belonging to a community under stress and on the edge of disaster.
This event is free and open to the campus and community.
