Mindfulness is not what you think! There is nothing mystical or magical about it. It's training the mind to stay, but paying attention to the breath, and learning to accept the various thoughts, sensations and other external stimuli that come up. The practitioner of mindfulness develops the capacity to be aware, to be awake, and to live each moment more fully.
First time participants are always welcome. Careful instruction will be given. Sessions last just under one hour, but participants may come and go as necessary.
Mindfulness Instruction is free and open to the campus community.
