Girls and Women in Science (GWIS) is a program that brings 6th grade girls, their parents and teachers to Beloit College for a weekend of fun and learning. The girls interest in science and academics are encouraged through interactions with like minded 6th graders and college students, a key note speaker, and a day full of labs.
